The ScanKiosk from Indus is a simple and fast Walk-Up document or book scanning system that consists of a fast 12” x 17” color flatbed scanner, a 17” high resolution and robust Touch Screen Monitor with a built-in computer. Indus’ popular and user friendly software, BCS-2 Walk-Up, is supplied with the system. The flatbed scanner has a book edge that allows the scanning of a bound book to almost the center of the binding capturing the page to the edge. A user can scan pages from a bound book, a magazine or a flat document, then save it to a removable USB drive, e-mail it or print it to a network or attached printer. The scan can be in the TIFF, JPEG or PDF format.
Indus MIS, Inc., offers the ScanKiosk as a turnkey solution that includes all the necessary equipment, on-site installation and user training and on-going support for the system that it supplies.
