The BookScanner 5000-II is an inexpensive TWAIN 32 compliant color, grayscale and black & white planetary book and document scanner for books and documents as large as 11 inches high x 17 inches wide. Scans in resolutions of up to 600 dpi. Has a built-in book cradle with cover glass plate. Indus bundles the BookScanner 5000-II with BCS-2 software and combined with Indus’ on-site service and support, the 5000-II is a great planetary book scanner for use by libraries that are looking for an inexpensive solution for their special collections area or for use in interlibrary loan centers. BCS-2 is seamlessly integrated with popular ILL document delivery systems. Can be used with the Walk-up kiosk version of BCS-2 in university libraries.
